The soft lighting from behind make the shadows particularly well placed. I think that's what I like the most about the shot, that and the expression on your sister's face - great!.
The white line is very ... stark? Did you add that in yourself (it doens't look like a wall line or something)? I feel like it's kinda off-putting from the soft tones of the photo.

it's difficult to shoot like that, it depend on the distance of the subject !

I really love the dim natural lighting. It makes shadows and textures immediately become much more interesting. Very beautiful color tones.
After being on small aperture diet (3.5-5.6... you guess from which lens..) for a year, I eventually bought a 28-75 f/2.8. That's a whole new world. Being able to shoot up to four times faster then before is really a pleasure. The shallow DOF is amazing :)
Good job  :)

Cool. For me I think the line would work in some photos, but i think that the white is too bright for this pic. Not sure, but I'd possibly use a sepia-tone type colour, hmmm :)

i love this, especially the soft light, well done :)

I like experimentation with framing - lord knows I don't frame my shit and I know I should....but this is a little distracting - from a composition side of things.....I think maybe a line like that can work, just not in this photo...as a side not: if you are going to do that -try making the white line the same width as the black lines (top, bottom, left) running around the rest of the frame....eyeballs tend to dig consistency I've found..

The lighting and detail is wonderful. Very good focus in the shot. She has a nice expression.
