yes, i've been listening to the arctic monkeys today. finally jumped on the much hyped bandwagon. not bad, i must admit.

here's a shot from friday night. i really fell in love with it right after i took it. minimal post... added vignette, contrast and some dodge/burn

very very good.
I'm asking myself, tho, how u pulled the lighting off.
the shadows on the floating guy's jeans tell me that the light came from above. did u bounce a flas from the ceiling? or was it a lucky moment of stroboscope goodness?

both.. flash from speedlight abover lens aimed upward with a bounce. i'd guess the shadow comes mostly from the overhead bounce and/or room lighting.
