everyone HAS to take a picture of the mona lisa... because it's so hard to find pictures of this thing!
yeah, that's cool, but you do know that you are not supposed to take pics there... cause the light destroys the paint and therefore the Mona Lisa... hope you didn't use flash yeah... just something to think about when you see the crowds taking pics... kinda ironic...

Have you tryed to find a decent picture of the mona lisa lately? I mean, I was looking at this one guys picture of it on Deviant Art, and the only thing in focus was some guys phone! You just can't find a decent picture..
But then again, maybe they figure they can make forgeries of it with their inkjet printer at home and sell them for a billion dollars on eBay. :-D Mwahah!

actually, they have protective glass covering it... it's seriously like a paparazzi photo shoot in there, flashes going off every second. kind of crazy, really.
the louvre was surprisingly lenient on cameras. they have certain rooms with "no flashing" signs, but people still use them and i didn't see anyone getting yelled at.
Well, finally, they have protected the most popular art pieces I guess, while leaving the others up to the protection of the no flash sign, that of course everyone ignores... well at least Mona Lisa is safe, right...

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
